Official Rules and Regulations
(May 2007)

How to Win:
To play, mail a 3” x 5” card placed inside an envelope, a postcard not to exceed 4.25” x 6”, or an official WITN-TV entry form to the address below or fill out an official entry blank at a WITN-TV Designated Event. During the contest period, April 26, 2007 until May 23, 2007 watch for your name to be announced weekdays during WITN 7 News at Sunrise or WITN 7 News at 6pm. You could win $700.00 or a rollover prize of even greater value.

Rules & Regulations:
You may register by mail or on an official entry blank at a WITN-TV Designated Event to be eligible for the 7 Feet of Cash drawings. You may enter as often as you like. No purchase is necessary. Registration entries must include Name, Address, Telephone Number, and LAST FOUR DIGITS of entrant’s Social Security Number. Entries must be individually postmarked. If your name and hometown are announced, you will have seven (7) minutes to call to be that show’s winner. If you are a winner, you (or a designated representative) will have the next three business days (Mon. Fri. 8:30a-5:30pm) to provide verification at the WITN TV Studios in Chocowinity, NC. If the actual winner is unable to provide verification in person they may designate a representative to provide verification. The designated representative must be submitted in writing by the winner to WITN-TV via e-mail (witn@witntv.com), fax (252-946-8177) or mail. The written verification must designate the representative and provide the winners Name, Address, Phone Number and last four digits of their Social Security number. The winner (or winner’s representative) must present a valid ID with their Social Security Number and one additional form of positive identification that includes a photo ID in order to be verified. (If the LAST FOUR DIGITS of a valid Social Security Number are not listed on the registration postcard, or the listed numbers do not match the Positive ID, the registration postcard is invalid.) If a winner (or designated representative) cannot verify his or her Social Security Number or proper ID is not presented, a check request cannot and will not be prepared for payment. A check will be ordered and mailed once a winner is verified.

If the announced winner does not call, does not hear their name announced, or is otherwise unable to call for any reason within the seven minute time period, then that winner forfeits the $700.00 prize money, which rolls over into the next drawing. WITN-TV reserves the right to increase nightly jackpots with cash bonuses. If a jackpot is increased, the cash bonus may not roll over to the next drawing. By acceptance of a 7 Feet of Cash prize, winner unconditionally grants to WITN-TV/Gray Television Group, Inc. the right to use their name, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of promoting the contest and/or station without any further compensation of any kind. All federal, state and local taxes and license and transfer fees attributable to prize winnings are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient. WITN-TV/Gray Television Group, Inc. reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary.

Eligibility:
1) You must be 18 years of age to play.
2) You must be a legal citizen of the United States.
3) You must register by mail or at a WITN-TV Designated Event. One entry per postmark/visit.
4) (a) Employees of WITN TV/Gray Television Group, Inc., contest sponsors, their subsidiaries, franchises or affiliates or employees of advertising, or service agencies or independent contractors are NOT eligible. (b) Persons who are immediate family and who reside in the same household as any person in any of the above categories are NOT eligible. (c) Persons and family members who have already won during this contest or winners of any prizes in excess of $100 during any WITN TV contests within the previous six (6) months are NOT eligible.
5) Individuals and family members who have won WITN-TV’s 7 Feet of Cash three or more times in their lifetime are NOT eligible for this contest.
6) For a complete list of winners, please send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: 7 Feet Winners, WITN-TV, P.O. Box 468, Washington, NC 27889 by June 30, 2007.
