Christine Kennedy is co-anchor of WITN-7 News at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. She is also the executive producer of WITN-7 News at 11 p.m.
Kennedy came to WITN-TV from northern West Virginia. She was co-anchor of the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts on WBOY-TV in Clarksburg. She also honed her reporting skills at WBOY-TV and at one time served as a bureau chief.
Kennedy got her start in television in Pittsburgh. She is a native of the North Hills section of the city. While still a student at Duquesne University, Christine completed two internships with Pittsburgh television stations. She then began working at WTAE-TV. Kennedy graduated from Duquesne with a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
Kennedy is excited about the chance to tell Eastern Carolina's stories on WITN-7 News.
"Everyone is so nice here," Kennedy said. "I am pleased to be a member of this community."
Kennedy's hobbies include pilates, running, shopping and music. She lives in Greenville and can be reached at Christine.Kennedy@witntv.com
