Trent Davis came to WITN-TV in April 2008 and covers both news and sports.

Trent began his “on air” career as a news and sports anchor while in middle school in Sarasota. His first newsroom experience came as a sports intern at WWSB in Sarasota and later at WTNH in New Haven. Trent then worked as a videographer and reporter for WCTV-TV in Tallahassee, Florida.

The youngest of four kids, Trent was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. He graduated from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut in 2003.

Trent considers himself a sports junkie and is passionate about cooking. He played football in high school and college.
