The editor of Toyota's blog, "Open Road," is warning about scams using their company's name and logo.

The blog entry says scam artists are sending letters on fake Toyota letterhead and a forged Toyota check. According to the blog entry, sometimes the letter asks the recipient to take part in a mystery-shopper program. In others, the letter says the recipient has won a lottery, meaning they get a lot of money and/or a Toyota vehicle. Toyota says this is scam and federal officials are investigating.
