The Better Business Bureau of Eastern Carolina is warning people about G.F. Financial Services. The Florida-based company guarantees people they will get a government grant for a processing fee of $469. The company tells its customers that it takes 12 weeks for the grant to come through. After that time passes with no money, the BBB says customers can't get in touch with G.F. Financial Services. The Better Business Bureau of Eastern Carolina says not one customer of G.F. Services has ever reported getting what the company promised.

I sent my $469.OO in June of 2007 to get a grant for a small business. I never recieved the money I was told I was getting. The one time last August when I was able to get a hold of someone I was told that it had been discovered that I was getting more money than originally thought and this caused a delay. Here I am nearly a year later and still nothing.

In regards to GF Services, I know a woman who received her grant and paid off her house.
