The FBI is warning people to beware of computer viruses hidden in e-cards.

The FBI says spam e-mails can spread the Storm Worm malicious software. When you click on a link to see your e-card in this spam, it downloads virus software to your computer. This opens your computer to spam e-mail, identity theft, denial of service attacks, and spreading malware to other machines on the Internet.

The FBI says, be wary of any e-mail received from an unknown sender. Do not open any unsolicited e-mail and do not click on any links provided.
