There's a search underway in Columbia, South Carolina for two scam artists who stole $86,000 from a senior citizen.

Police say a woman stole the senior citizen's identity, opened a bank account in her name, and deposited 70-thousand dollars of the victim's money there.

She then wrote her accomplice a check for the rest of the money, and the second suspect cashed that check with a fake id.
