The FBI says there are more schemes in cyberspace than ever misrepresenting FBI agents and even the agency's director, Robert S. Mueller III. The emails look legitimate, the FBI says, thanks to banners, seals, letterhead and pictures of Director Mueller. The schemes are usually fake lottery endorsements or bogus inheritance notifications. The FBI says, they do not send emails trying to get information from people.
