The Lenoir County Fair is over, but it was fun!
Fairgoers found rides and thrills at the fairgrounds in Kinston, along with a petting zoo, animals, exhibits and of course, that fabulous fair food.
Also on hand for the whole family? Great entertainment, as well as educational booths.
WITN was proud to sponsor "Old Fashioned" night at the fair Tuesday night. On Tuesday evening, all mechanical rides were just 50 cents.
The gate opened at 5 p.m. from Monday-Friday and noon on Saturday.
Adult admission is $5.00 and child admission is $4.00. School children will get $1.00 off the gate price on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Citizens 55 years and older will get in free on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Children under 2 get in free. Ride tickets are on sale at the fairgrounds.
The fairgrounds are located just off Highway 11 and 55. See the map below.
