The sixth annual Carolina Chocolate Festival begins Friday, February 1 and runs through the weekend along the Crystal Coast.

The main part of the weekend is at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. On Saturday and Sunday 30 Chocolatiers from across the nation who will offer samples and sales of their incredibly tasty treats.

The event has a sweet spot for area charities, too. The list of beneficiaries includes, but is not limited to Boys & Girls Club of Coastal Carolina, Carteret County Domestic Violence Program, Ginger’s House, 4-H Club, Beaufort Women’s Club, and Beaufort Sister Cities.

Heather & Jim, Sorry it took so long to let you know that I loved the chocolate festival. Thank you for informing me,never knew there was one.I'm a big chocolate lover.Many people had no knowledge of it,I surely told everyone I could.I heard about it on your morning show. Had a blast,great sweets, & some great tasting wine. Thank You Again for letting me & everyone know whats going on in eastern N.C.! Love waking up to you & Jim every morning at 5:00am. Keep up the great work. See you in the morning.
