A New York City man is suing JetBlue for more than 2 million dollars because he says a pilot made him give up his seat to a flight attendant and sit on the toilet for more than three hours on a flight from California.

The man says in court papers that the pilot told him to "go
'hang out' in the bathroom" about 90 minutes into the San
Diego-to-New York flight because the flight attendant complained
that the "jump seat" she was assigned was uncomfortable.

The lawsuit says when the man expressed reluctance about sitting
in the bathroom, the pilot told him that he was in command and that
the passenger "should be grateful for being on board."

A JetBlue spokesman declined comment on the lawsuit.

Is it possible that the flight attendant wasn't working? You know, sometimes they may fly home for the weekend and maybe they can sit in a jump seat if the flight is full. I guess it wouldn't be comfortable for a long flight, but no reason to kick someone out of their seat!

I agree with Kathryn... So "N" what part of the story is missing?

People who purchase these filight tickets pay a lot of money for them, and they expect to be comfortable. The flight attendants are supposed to be working and not sitting down. There is no reason for something that ridiculous to happen, and that pilot needs to understand that if not for people needing to travel, whether its for business or personal matters; he would not have a job, he may be in charge but thw passenger is the one who paid for his seat, not to sit in a very cramped and very uncomroftable bathroom just because the flight attendant does not want to be uncomfortable.
