Deputies say they now have the second suspect in a store robbery where the owner was shot twice.
Marquez Johnson was arrested by Greenville police as they were working a high crime area. Deputies say originally Johnson gave them a false name. His true identity was discovered after being booked into the county jail.
Deputies previously had charged Damion Peele of Williamston with robbery and attempted murder.
Deputies say on May 15th the two men went into the Falkland store, demanded money from the owner and shot him two times in the arms and chest. The cash register was taken during the holdup and deputies say it has since been recovered.
