Greenville detectives have two separate robberies to investigate tonight. The first happened around 9-30 Friday night.

Police say four suspects attacked a victim outside his home and demanded money.

Police say it happened at the King's Arm Apartment complex on Charles Boulevard.

That's just a few blocks from where two ECU students were held up and robbed on Thursday.

According to reports the suspects in this case, forced the victim back into his apartment, still demanding cash.

The would-be thieves didn't know there was another person in the apartment who called police and then scared off the suspects swinging a metal cane.

Police arrested three-people.. all between the ages of 14 and 15.

They're charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of kidnapping and first degree burglary. Police are still searching for the fourth suspect.

Hey Carla, are you saying strong armed robbery (robbery without a weapon) is ok?

Here is a suggestion for chief Anderson.. How about creating a sting operation of plain clothed police personel out walking the streets of Greenville at the hours these robberies are happening. You certainly know where they are taking place. A male and female officer together with their weapons concealed and a waiting unmarked police vehicle force waiting in the wings for the take down.

Send these punk thugs to jail along with their parents-or parent if that be the case. Greenville is fed up with these criminals and they need to be tried as adults and sent away to learn what life is behind bars for a long time. One time they will mess with the wrong person who is packing a pistol of their own. Just wait and see.

It really makes me mad that we have these gangsters living here. That's sad when you need a gun to rob somebody instead of using your fists. These guys are spineless little boys who will never have a future outside of jail.

Time for the town square whipping post. But they will be slaped on the hand and sent back onto the streets to do this all over again, and again.

I'm all for public whippings on the town commons. Some may view this as barbaric, but I'm sure that it would serve as a stonger deterent to crime than probation or jail. I don't think every conviction should warrant this punishment, but it should definitely be applicable considering the nature of the event. In my opinion, it should automatically apply to any violent crime or crime that endangers the life of others such as DWI. Since I personally can't stand a thief, it should apply to them automatically, but with careful consideration of the reason behind it. To me it's a need vs greed type of thing.

They wanna do "big boy" crimes, they can go to "big boy" jail. Sounds like these kids need some home training.

These punks should be charged as adults and jailed in an adult facility. "Do the crime, do the time" should be our catch phrase and marketed like the seat belt campaign. These few are way beyond a whippin' by their parents. Maybe that's the problem, not enough parental supervision.
