Kids across eastern Carolina are getting set for end of grade tests next week.
Fourth graders at South Greenville elementary school came together for a pep rally Friday. Faculty members were on hand to help the students get pumped for the exam, which every student must take this Monday.
The EOG measures what a child knows in order to graduate to the next grade.
The rally involved class cheers and skits and faculty encouraged all students to get a good night's rest and study hard.
At the end of the rally the students symbolically released their fears for Monday with a balloon release ceremony.
