Two East Carolina University students are unharmed after they were held up then forced to get money from two ATM's.

Police says two men left the downtown area early Thursday morning, heading down Eleventh street, when two gunman approached them. The suspects forced the men to head to Harris Teeter's ATM machine. One of the suspects took the bank card, while the other stood outside, holding the victims at gunpoint. When he couldn't get any cash, the gunman headed to Sheetz to try again. They were unsuccessful and instead took off.

So far there are no suspects.

Greenville police says they're constantly informing their officers of high crime areas to patrol to combat the increase in crime.

It makes their job more difficult??? I guess we need to have some Super Heroes in Greenville to go above and beyond as I thought it was the job of the Greenville PD to keep us safe. It's the least they could do - patrol the local shopping centers....for they are surely not attempting to fight crime here, get rid of gangs or clean this city up!!!

I honestly don't know what to think about the situation but it's sad what these young people are doing to others i can say it's a praying time. I also would like to make this statement/comment if a person feels they should have to go and rob or harm others in any way because they don't have any money they should go and get a JOB. YOUNG PEOPLE times may seem like it's the end of the world but if you would work for once in your life and stick with the job quit complaining ALL the time you would'nt feel the need to do something stupid like robbing, killing, hurting others for what: no reason at all.
