The family of an off-duty police officer killed while using an ATM in Florida is suing Bank of America, claiming negligence.
Alfred Gordon's estate says the Charlotte-based bank failed to provide proper security at its outdoor, 24-hour automated teller in Orlando. A Bank of America spokesman declined comment, saying the company doesn't discuss pending litigation.
Also accused is the company that owns the bank land. Gordon's family says there were no security guards, proper lighting or cameras.
Two teenagers were indicted on murder charges in October, days after Gordon was killed.
