A 13-year-old child who deputies say ran away Sunday morning with a 21-year-old man is now back home.
Yazmin Chavez Gutierrez ran away early Sunday morning and authorities say she was traveling with 21-year-old Evaristo Cornelio.
Deputies say the two were heading to Mexico, and got as far as Georgia when Corneilo turned around and dropped the child off around 6:30 this morning.
Deputies are now looking for Corneilo and plan to charge him with taking the child without her parents' permission.
Corneilo could be driving a black 1996 Ford Explorer with North Carolina license plate VVY - 4350.
