The kickoff time for East Carolina's non-conference contest against West Virginia, scheduled for September 6 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, has been set for 4:30 p.m. (EDT) to accommodate a live ESPN television broadcast according to an announcement from the network late Tuesday afternoon.

The Mountaineers will be making their seventh visit to Greenville this season, and first since posting a 27-10 victory over the Pirates on Sept. 23, 2006. Overall, the two programs have squared off against each other on 19 previous occasions, including six consecutive meetings beginning in 2002.

In addition, ECU will also observe Pirate Club Weekend when the Pirates host the Mountaineers.
