Years ago, the Pasquotank County town of Elizabeth City was known as a regional center for candy manufacturing. Companys like Whetherly's Candy and Comstock's Confectionary are gone now, but a new candy company has surfaced and Country Rover Tom Skinner reports plans are underway to make the name Elizabeth City synonomous with something sweet.
