Well please 'nudge' the volunteers at Cape Hatteras to get the cam back up and running. And point it out toward's Cape Point!!!!!

I have really missed the lighthouse cam; thank you so much for sponsoring it. I have visited this sight since before the move. It gives me a chance to visit the coast before my once-a-year vacation in Buxton!

We had a WONDERFUL family vacation in the Outer Banks this past summer! We lover to come to this site and see the beautiful lighthouse. It brings back some great memories. We can't wait to come back again! The people were so nice, the area so beautiful and so family friendly. Thank you so much for the camera location! It's helping the winter pass up here!!! I am always using various pictures from WITN Webcams as my wallpaper on my computer. These are awesome. Thank you so much for offering these webcam shots to your viewers. Are there plans for future webcams in other places in Eastern North Carolina? I think one should be placed at Jockey's Ridge State Park or Wright Brothers Memorial.

Editor's note: We are always looking for new locations. The hard part is finding a place with stable power, internet and something easily accessible. It takes a full day to go to the Hatteras camera and make a repair and drive back. Fortunately, the rangers and volunteers there are usually able to "nudge" our machines back into operation. Other camera locations require us to make an appointment to actually get access to the camera & computer.
